Piave Vecchio is reminiscent of a young Parmigiano Reggiano. Made in the province of Bulluno, the northernmost part of the Veneto region in Italy. Piave is aged 12 months and puts forth nutty nuances and complex buttery flavors. A great alternative to Parmesan in pasta dishes and sauces. It's a great addition to pizza and salads. It also makes a great snack.
Pairs well with Prosciutto and fresh grapes
