Coastal Cheddar is made on the Ford Farm Dairy located on England's Dorset Jurassic Coast. Aged for a minimum of 15 months and using vegetable rennet, it's rugged with intense flavor but with a balancing sweetness. The signature crunch from the calcium lactate crystals, which form naturally as the cheese ages, is a characteristic of this Cheddar you can not miss. It's our most popular cheddar to date. Great on a toasties (aka grilled cheese sandwich) or as part of your cheese board. It pairs well with hard cider and fruity red wines.
